Character LCD
I know the prices of LCD monitors are coming down, and I'll probably pick another one up in the next year or so, but what I'd really like is a terminal LCD screen. Just a monochrome 24 line by 80 column character screen that can hook up to my HD-15 jack. Is that too much to ask? It seems like this should be a relatively inexpensive item, since you can get (at least, used to... I can't find on at the moment) a 14-inch color LCD monitor for a little over $100. Of course, supply and demand usually dictates prices, instead of manufacturing cost, so it may not be such a deal after all...

Update: I did find some small serial terminals, which I guess could be an option but all have a limited viewing area. Another option would be to find a floppy serial terminal distribution and use some of my laptops without hard drives.
