2007 Year In Review
Well, it's almost the end of 2007, so I figured I'd look back and try to remember what we did this year... Here are some highlights:

Heather and I took a trip to Disney World at the end of January and beginning of February, which was a lot of fun. I hadn't been there in 18 years, and we got to see just about everything (sometimes twice). We stayed at the Pop Century on Disney property, which was affordable and decent (a little small, but we weren't in the room much).

This summer we visited Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for a weekend with my family and grandparents. Bethlehem's where my grandparents grew up, met, and got married, so they showed us around town and we got to hear stories from when they were younger.

Heather and I went to A LOT of garage sales this summer, which is always fun. I think my favorite buy of the summer was a Nikon D1X. I also found a decent record player and got a bunch of records.

I traded in many of my old video game systems and games, and picked up a Wii.

Heather planted a bunch of new flowers in the yard this summer, which should look very nice come May.

Our second nephew, Dominic, was born in July.

We went to see Shane Claiborne speak this summer in Canton, and Rob Bell in December in Cleveland.

We were able to hold off until November to turn the heat on, which is our yearly goal. Somehow my sister held out one day longer to show us up...

Heather was in charge of the Summer Program at the daycare she works at during the summer, and they've already asked her to do next year's program. There were layoffs at my work in November, but I kept my job.

Ziti somehow managed to hurt herself a couple of times early in the year, but she's fully recovered (actually, I don't think she even realized she was hurt). Both Ziti and Basil are helping to keep us warm this winter.

I'm sure there's a lot more, so I may add to this in the future, but that's what I can remember right now...
