IPCop
I started setting up IPCop yesterday on my old Misterhouse server (P166MMX), and played with it some more tonight. It's a pretty nice little package and interface for linux routing/intrusion detection/proxy/traffic shaping/etc. So I scrounged up four network cards and stuffed them in the old PC with a modem (that's right, for my dial-up connection), burned the ISO to disc, and booted the installation. Everything went pretty smoothly, especially since I had already read the install and admin guides from the IPCop website. Anyway, I'll add to this post after I've done more with it -- this is as much a test as it is a post.
