Ninety-Eight Percent
I got a 100% on the Data Structures midterm. Yee-haw! (that last outburst was for all my Texan friends.) So right now I'm getting a 98% in the class overall. While the prof was going over some of the examples of wrong answers on the exam, he said in his heavy accent that some of the students were just "abusing paper". That made me laugh.

The prof was supposed to hand back our programs Wednesday, too, but hadn't finished grading all of them yet. So we should get those back next Monday.

Recently Played Songs
I just set up DoSomething to ftp a most recently played songs list to my server, which you can view HERE. Seeing as I haven't been using winamp much in the past few months, I may or may not continue posting the list... [more]

So the midterm was actually a *little* harder than I expected. No huge deal though. As far as I can tell I got an "A" on it... so let's hope I'm right. It is worth 30% of my grade in the class...

Tonight's my Data Structures midterm, which right now I feel pretty confident about. It's going to consist of four (yes, that's 4) questions. Each question will consist of either creating a new (small) function for a class, writing a (small) driver for a class, or giving the output of some given code. I'm trying not to smile.

This morning Heather's cousin had her baby, Demmi Wilson. We're going down to visit after church. Oh, and happy St. Patrick's day, all.

DS Update
My data structures class has been going better than planned... *excellent*

The rest of the class is enough below par that the professor keeps making everything easier. The first program got reduced to bonus points, and for the next two programs he's given us the driver program and we just have to implement the data structure. I've scored an average of 92% on the quizes, so I'm pushing for an A in the class. Quite a change, eh?

The neat thing is that I'm actually understanding the material. Go figure.

AvantGo gets the boot
Because AvantGo recently decided to limit subscribers to custom channels at 8, I recently changed my offline Palm browsing program to the free Plucker. I simply copied the URL's from my custom AvantGo channels into my Plucker homepage, and those worked great. Plucker takes up much less space than AvantGo, although it does lack the online browsing and form submission features.

I ran into a problem, however, when trying to get the MyYahoo! channel's URL, as apparently Yahoo! and AvantGo have some kind of deal. After some searching I found this link which seems to be the same as the avantgo channel. In my searching, I also found some lists of palm-formatted links here, here, and here.

I finally got all this log set up on my new server... I'm now hosted through GNXonline, which I've heard mixed reviews about, but they were cheaper than anything else I found, so I'm giving them a try. Anyway, I'm broken away from the silly namezero forwarding service, and now have a real domain, so from now on is where it's at. [more]
