RhoLog, RhoLog, are your golden days past?
There hasn't been a post here for two weeks, save my feeble attempts. What a sad, sad thing. Where's the news? Where are the stories? And most importantly of all, where's the trash talk?

New Log Program?
I've been trying out PHP Nuke on my personal site, as an alternative to GreyMatter. Not that there's anything really wrong with Greymatter, it's just that Nuke does some things that it can't. Anyway, CHECK OUT MY SITE and tell me if you think it's worth the trouble to change. While your at it, sign up so you can see the avatars and theme changing capabilities...

Back in effect
  • First off, I'd like to wish Eric congratulations on his job offer (now Heather and I can fulfill our dreams of living in your and Mike's pantry!)... I believe the official count of senior Rho's moving on is 3. Hopefully I'll be in there soon...
  • I appologize for my lack of posts over break (especially since I encouraged everyone to post over break). But dang, 33.6 is a good excuse, huh?
  • I did my state and local taxes TODAY. Nothing like cutting it close.
  • I have no idea if we have a meeting tonight, but I'd assume not. But then again, I'm only the secretary... what do I know?

Monroeville - In the house in the 2001
I got my offer from Bechtel today, and I must admit I'm pretty happy. Dave and Heather now have a place to live too. I talked to Mike and we are going to go look at an apartment tomorrow before we head back to the ol' grove. peace.

    Disappointing
I get back from my ICO trip, and run to the computer to check the Rholog...and nothing. Not a single post in the last week. I know y'all don't have lives, so I can only assume that you are dead. (This of course excludes Mike who was also on an ICO trip)

    Easter Break
As the overwhelming majority of you know, today after classes Easter Break starts. I just wanted to remind everyone that they are welcome to use and check the RhoLog for any news, stories, or whatever during break. Oh, and I hope you all have a good break, and especially those on ICO trips, that you would learn a lot and be able to do a lot.

    Short Detector
So the short detector that Chief built for the Senior Design project... it looks like... well, nevermind.

    easter rho-poll
A quick first post to get me started...a nice tri-rho poll. What is the best part about easter break?
    1) The sleep
    2) Catching up on work (don't choose this you nerd)
    3) Watching some TV and relaxing in general
    4) The family time
    5) The sunshine and spring weather (we can hope right?)

    High Rhollers Requiem
A requiem in memory of the High Rhollers IM bowling season will be held in Harbison Chapel this evening at 7:00. Mourners should come adorned in sackcloth and ashes. Music will be provided by the Grove City College touring choir. A chapel card will be accepted. Allright, maybe no such event will take place. But one should. The mighty juggernaut once known as the High Rhollers is but a distant memory, crippled by a sick twist of fate and finished off by a corrupt single-elimination playoff system designed to kick all undefeated #1 seeds to the curb in the first round. But I'm not bitter. A huge thanks to all who supported us this season. And megaprops to fellow High Rhollers M. Wadd, D. James Sumner, Eric "the phantom" Douglas, and Chris "the destroya" Dohring. While we fell short in the playoffs, we went undefeated in the regular season and won high bowler every game, and as far as I am concerned, that's where it's at. It was great bowling with you guys.

    Picture Gallery
In case ya'll (or y'ins, depended on where you're from) haven't noticed, there's now a Picture Gallery section, with a link on the sidebar. Posters, if you want to post an image or two there, just send it to me and I'll take care of it. If you want to post a bunch, I'll tell you how.

In related news, I got a pair of free 3-D glasses today from DDD.com (get it, 3 D's?) today. They're pretty nice, so I thought I'd let you all know, especially since I posted a 3-D picture in my section of the gallery. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I make my 3-D anaglyphs using the freeware Anaglyph Maker, which can be downloaded HERE.

    Rossi, please shut up
Is it me, or am I the only one that is sick and tired of hearing Rossi ramble on and on, attempting to talk trash or apologize for his gramatical oversights? C'mon Rossi, give it a rest...

    Space for Rent
Well, if you haven't heard, Eric's job fell through. He's now at the top of the "waiting list" for the Monroeville job. I'm seriously bummed out since having such a wonderful roommate such as Eric is in jeopardy. So sing along now boys and girls, "Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness...". (And don't read into the rest of those lyrics)

    truth teller
i just wanted to also apolgize to "truth teller" over my poor gramtical skills. I was unaware that I was writing a piece of literature for the New York Times instead of throwing some friendly trash talk out to my man dave. Im not sure who this truth fellow is but if he is a rho im quite discourged. and if he is not then I apoglize for not having the intelligence to impress or appease you, and if you want you can defintely come over to my room and we "discuss" any problems you have. rossi

    Sorry, High Rhollers
The High Rhollers had their first semi-final game tonight, but unfortunately were a player short, and lost. They had an excellent regular season, shutting out every other team. You guys bowled well and hard. Thanks for giving the Rhos a chance in at least one IM sport!

    Ben's Mess
Although this happened Wednesday of last week, I'd like to take an opportunity to point out the horrible conditions I must live in. My roommate (known on this page as chap) decided to get fed up with everything and throw stuff around. The result can be seen HERE and HERE.
Also, I sized these at 640x480 and saved them at 80% quality... so let me know how you like that for the picture gallery...
