Was it slothness that makes me not enjoy running? Or is it your own stupidity which drives you to do it? What does running gain you? A couple of bum knees, pain, shortness of breath, 20 minutes of sheer agony, the urge to sleep 16 hours in a day, blisters, and so on. And for what end? To know you can run such and such a distance in such and such a time? How boring! Run while playing a sport! Run while chasing after your dog! Don't run for the sake of running!
