Anyway, Bechtel didn't tell me again...the guy who i was supposed to talk to today is on vacation...man this is really frustrating. So dave, i guess you'll have to wait till monday to find out if you'll be able to live with mike and me.

I'm working on putting together a gallery of Rho pictures to put on the site. Does anyone have any opinion on what resolution and jpeg quality the pictures should be? I think the setup will be an index with links to pages of thumbnails, which will link to the actual images. Each thumbnail page will be a category/event. Let me know, yo yo yo.

i just wanted to apologize to everyone about david thinking he is any good at sky dive, it is a very misunderstood and not well adjusted young man and he just sometimes gets confused when talking. if anyone want to play they king of sky dive just walk down to room 101 and ask me if i will beat you and if my schedule allows me 3 minutes i will surely do so rossi

Low Rhollers for a reason

Yes sir, we are. We won tonight with our worst score ever, since the other team didn't show up. I had my personal worst score for as long as I can remember... I'd rather not say what it was, but I can tell you that I didn't close a single frame. We have one more game to go in our division, and we're supposed to play one extra-division game, but I might just skip that. We're definitely not winning any tournament...

Even though I still haven't heard officially that I have the job (insert growling here), Mike and I have still started looking for apartments. Apparently though, one of the guys who works for Whitaker (the book publishing place that employs Mike) found a bomb pad (ala ketler) in the Monroeville. $495 a month including all utilities. Now that's what I'm talking about. It sounds too good to be true so I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

Well, I'm very happy to see the many contributions to the RhoLog lately... thank you Eric & Mike!
I made a few more design changes to the templates, adding a right-sidebar with the month's posts and the most commented posts. I'd really like to list the next 10 posts bumped off the page, but since I can't figure out how to do that...
I also added some color to the scrollbars, and changed the way the title graphic is displayed. Oh, and I added a section to each person's personal page (which can be accessed by clicking on his picture in the sidebar) with all the posts they've contributed. Let me know how you like the layout of any or everything...

Well, I must say that we have a new Rho TA (Turtle Award) standard. For the uninitiated, the TA is given each week to an individual who does something stupid during the week. This week, Josh set off a bottle rocket in a gas station parking lot in a car. He decided to hold onto the bottle rocket, which he eventually let go of only to find it start zinging around the interior of the car. It eventually exploded on a floormat. He went hysteric and started running around the gas station at this point. Later that evening, he decided to try the same thing at a different location. With the same results. Holding. Zinging. Exploding. Hysteria. What a guy this Josh.(Note: names have been changed to protect the innocent)

Tonight I discovered the wonderful Atari 2600 games Sky Diver and Boxing. Both are two player simultaneous games which are very fun. I also happen to rule everyone else in them. Especially Eric. The highlights: 63-0 in Sky Diver and KO (100) - 33 in Boxing. That one gave him a real black eye.

Our good bowling team won yet again, making them 5-0 now. Not only that, they beat the only other undefeated team in their division with a hefty 70-pin margin. Holding a 595 pin average for 4 bowlers over 5 games is very impressive. Kudos guys. Here's hoping for the championship (since we suck at all the other sports).

I am finally pleased with the site design! While I'm still working on the colors (right now I'm just using the ones from my site), I really like the format. It took me awhile to figure out to use nested padded tables instead of trying to work with the silly borders...
Today also brought two new posters, chap (my roommate Ben) and djjpa13 (former Rho Josh coming live from New York). You'll find their info (along with everyone else's) in the sidebar...

For any underclassmen who are still in Engineering, consider this: in the last two weeks I have spent 60 hrs/wk in hoyt. Don't be deceived-GET OUT NOW! Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be playing @ Salt Coffee house this friday (March 16, 2001) It's going to be me and three girls (I still haven't lost my touch, hehe) We are officially on at 8:08 - yes - the very first act. They obviously saved the best for first...or something.
