Monday, June 17, 2002 Matrix XR Friday night we picked up the Matrix. It took quite a bit of haggling over the trade and such, but we finally came out with a deal we could feel okay about. I still have to get the windows tinted, which I'll have them do sometime this week. I'll also have pictures soon, as I want some before the tinting, and before I remove the badges off the rear. The only problem is finding one with the options I want (and don't want), since they're a little scarce at the moment. I've visited two of the local dealerships, and the selection is a little lacking. If things don't work out with that, I'm still looking at the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Nissan Frontier (light pickup), and Suzuki Aerio SX (compact wagon). We're going out to look again tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be able to find something soon (at least before the Camry dies).
